Whispers .........
Glancing back at all the places
Through all the faces Ive seen,
Soil of the lands hosting my prints
All those I have in time come
To recognize as friends to me,
Enemies whose hate and spite
For me Ive merited most
Deservedly, all pieces of my
Desolate memories, an enigmatic
Ensemble of sensitivities, curious
For never before do I recall having
Set them free, catalytically deriving,
Director of my rhythmic regulators,
Beating heart pounds my core
To submission, embracing an
Invitation to change, synchronizing,
To unify nullifying the existing
Crown, to bestow power to a new
Rgime, a fresh new rhythm, one to
Move through the souls of all humanity,
Time for division has passed us by,
Today without unity we are bound
To calamities, relentless, today the
Machine pounds the dividing beat
Of colors, it divides brothers from
One another, Ive seen mankind
All across this land, been touched
By them all, shared their joyance
With a smile, tears of misery Ive
Shed for their suffering, for it all
A silent benefactor of the most
Gracious host Ive been, grateful
As lifes rendered me its utmost
Prominent gift, memories, from
End to end; Ive stepped forth,
Through the hesitant souls of the
Kind, mankind, along the way
Collecting delectable memories
A lifetime of such, joys and tragedies
Such even fictions greatest minds
Could have never fathom such in
Facsimile, love and hate, we so easily
Delegate conveniently donate with
Apparent utmost charity to all of
Humanity, all I now hope Ill remember
For an eternity, all Ive seen and all
Ive heard, memories, gift wisdom has
Helped me inhale and digest assiduously,
Time teaches all, not long ago I stumbled
Upon an epiphany, to my absolute
Dismay I discovered this great land
Of ours holds also a lofty bit of memory,
Not to be out done is our beloved sky,
Forever absorbing, always watchfully
Solace, retaining witness to all of our
Sins, yet never to interfere I feel it all
Around from the gentle to the crass, I
Feel it in the chilling cold winter breeze,
Seen lightning send smoke signals by
Burning trees, heard it whispered by
Shadows at night, humming it through
The old venerable trees, along side of
Mountain streams, running down the
Beautiful rainbow decored grassy hills,
Some murmur and some giggle but I
Wonder the secrets they tell to the air and
To the sea, I asked the old man once;
Silent, through blind eyes he stared at me
Two days and three nights, I endured his
Searing gaze in Silence till he enchanted me;
They whisper our destiny, the wind
And the air gossip of our futility, nightly
Whispering to the skies and to the seas,
The haunting whispers whose words
I could never hear, yet their chilling
Message I always seem to know all to
Clear, now every night as I shout, as I
Cry hopelessly, howling to all who may
Hear me, hoping to share the burden to
The terrible secret I suffer shamefully,
Is there no one, not a one left alive
One who can hear me cry, I wonder,
Can you hear them laughing at my cries.
