GODDESS OF TIDES

Goddess of La Luna,
what do you witness?
Tell me the secrets you hide.
What goes on beyond the light
within your realm of darkness,
your world where angels hide
and demons roam free?
Do you ever wish for the light
of day to enter into your kingdom?
Oh mother of night, what happens out there,
out there where children wander,
beneath your stars, beneath your moon
where daylight is forbidden?
Do you miss your children when the dawn wakes up?
Are you free when the sun rises
and the daylights fun begins?
Oh immortal dream weaver, you are the bearer
of long, lost dreams.
You hold the key within your hours
to the lonely cries of the hopeless.
Nothing compares to the wisdom you possess.
Stand your ground and fight for your rights
To eternally reign as queen of umbra midnight.
Let me be your friend in your trying times
when the cries of forsaken children
echo and pierce your silent soul.
Will you let me in to your deepest dreams
that you hide behind cold light?
Oh mother of the tides, how I love thee so!
Your courage and bravery will always live on.
Your freedom will forever sing.
Through the wind and the snow,
through the thunder and lightning,
you will always belong, come what may.
Oh divine mistress of the moon,
Mystic moon wielder of earths
Ancient cries of lost truth,
you will always be one with me.
