"Journey Within"

In fevered sleep,
words cutting deep,
"embrace me" I'm to hear.

Upright in bed,
can't clear my head,
my heart frozen with fear!

The wind blows high,
a banshee's cry,
white lightning shows your trees.

The sight of you,
from window's view,
I'm down upon my knees!

"Come to me now",
once more somehow,
such words from you so clear.

Shaking I dress,
my mind's a mess,
the end is coming near!

Into the night,
to your delight,
I step and feel you squeeze.

The rain hits hard,
each drop's a shard,
I enter you and freeze.

I'm in your wood,
your neighborhood,
why must you bring me here?!

To my surprise,
before my eyes,
my hopes and dreams appear!
