"End of the Rainbow"

Sinking in a bath of moonlight
See your skin become translucent, pure
The wind sings its whispered lullaby to you
And the stars are your nightlights in the dark

The petals beneath you sigh
As you lay down your head
And fall into a deep sleep
With a blanket of mist to cover you

The rain falls around you like crystals
And the birds sing their hypnotic chant
Trying to gain control over you
Trying to make you falter

Youre living at the end of the rainbow
Where trouble is supposed to melt like lemon drops
And the world is completely in color
But, if thats true, why cant you find your pot of gold?

Youre flipping through the book of time
Trying to find where you went wrong
But the twister is spinning wildly around you
And, no matter what they tell you, you know youre not in Kansas
anymore
