I love the style you've used here, mike ... this is a very thoughtful piece ... accepting of those who have different views ... but feeling condemned for your own. I've found there are many in this world who can only see their view as being "right" ... particularly on certain topics ... such as religion. my views are very different from most on a lot of things ... but I've never condemned those who see things differently than I do. we all follow our own paths ... and we all get there in the end, eh? your closing is very powerful here, mike ... very well done! I enjoyed this ...
"Each smallest act of kindness reverberates across great spans of time, affecting lives unknown to the one whose generous spirit was the source of this good echo, because kindness is passed on and grows each time it's passed, until a simple courtesy becomes an act of selfless courage years later and far away. Likewise ... each small meanness, each expression of hatred ... each act of evil." "The Momentuous Day" H.R. White
